Veggie Truckin'

Bay Area Food Trucks from a Vegetarian Perspective

About July 3, 2011

I am a 28 year-old teacher who grew up in the bay area (Newark, to be exact), went to college in Sacramento, and got my teaching credential in San Jose, where I currently reside. I began eating at food trucks in August of 2010 and never looked back. My vegetarianism began in June of 2011.

In addition to food trucks, I love music (going to concerts, making mixes, singing at the top of my lungs in my car, etc.), stand up comedy, and A’s baseball. I also have a boyfriend named Kyle who is mentioned often in this blog because he loves food trucks almost as much as I do and goes to many of them with me.

If you are ever in San Carlos on Wednesdays, come by Hiller Aviation Museum from 11AM to 2PM. This weeks line up includes Sanguchon, the lobster ShackMobile, Speedy Panini (fabulous vegetarian sandwiches), Mayo and Mustard, Twisted Chill, and Senor Sisig. Nom Nom is there most Wednesdays. Please see Facebook for each weeks line up:
